Wedding dogs - wedding gift free pattern

My dearest friend recently got married. I wouldn't be myself if I wouldn't make some crochet gift for this occasion. I made a pair of two little dogs (they are based on russian toy dogs), boy with a bow-tie and a girl with a flower headband.

You can use this free pattern to make your own wedding gift or just to make a little dog for yourself. You can make other accessories, use the ones I made or leave a dog without one, he will also look cute :)

Materials:

You will need:

•  hook 3mm
•  black, beige and in You want to make accessories one other (for my it's salmon) yarn ( I use the yarn which gauge is 24.0 to 30.0 sts = 4 inches )
• black beads (5 mm would be best) 
• cotton or other stuffing

Pattern:

Head (Make 1 - for each dog)
black yarn

R1: sc 6 in MR (6)

R2: inc around (12)

R3: * sc, inc * X6 (18)

R4: * sc 2, inc * X6 (24)

R5: sc around (24)

R6: * sc 3, inc * X6 (30)

R7 - R10: sc around (30)

R11: * sc 3, dec * X6 (24)

R12: sc around (24)

R13: * sc 2, dec * X6 (18) FO

Dory!

 Finding Dory is now in cinemas, we are going today with my son. I hope the movie will be amazing just like the first part - I know the story all too well as every night my son wants to read it as a bed time story :) I hope with Finding Dory now, we will buy the second part of the book and read it, cause I am a bit bored reading the first over and over again ( I usually just keep the book on my knees tell it from the memory, cause I know every single line and paint my nails :P)

Anyway pattern for Dory will be available very soon.

I am very pleased with the finished result, she is 22 cm (8,6 inches) long, 17 cm (6,6 inches) wide.

Cars - Lightning, Sally, Mater pattern

3 Cars crochet pattern in 1 - Lightning McQueen, Sally Carrera and Mater tow truck from The Cars Disney movie. Pattern for each car is in separate PDF file.

Each car is more or less 10 cm (4 inches) long, Mater is a bit longer if You are counting his hook. They are perfect to play with and to hug and sleep later.

We had so much fun with my son playing with those 3 little cars, we drew street on the big black paper as You can see on the photos below. I am so glad I made them smaller than my usual toys, this way Aleks can play with them and mix with the other cars he already have. Definitely a creative crochet toy for our little boys and girls - and about the gender in toys my son is always giving my Carrera to "be" in play I want to be McQueen for once!! :)

Baby Tiger Rajah - Etsy pattern

Rajah the baby tiger was inspired on the tiger character from my favorite Disney movie Aladdin.

When I was little it was the only Disney movie I ve has on VHS and I watched like maybe 100 times - seriously I've watched it every day :) My favorite scene was when Rajah was changed into a little tiger by Jafar. Oh how I wanted to have my own baby tiger... and now I can, and You too.

Tiger when finished is almost 40 cm (15,7 inches) from the front paws to the end of back legs.

Crochet pattern for Ratchet toy and Clank - as his backpack. Finished Ratchet is 25 cm tall (10 inches).
I have put wires in Ratchet's arms, legs, body, head and tail to make him settable, but I couldn't get him to stand on his own (Clank is pulling him down :).

This 26 page PDF tutorial contains many photos and detailed instructions on how to crochet the Ratchet toy and Clank -his backpack. It is written in English with standard crochet terms. It contains 1 page with abbreviations (You can always check the symbol).

... GHOSTBUSTERS!  Free pattern for a Ghostbusters crochet pin. For all the old timers out there :)

I am defienietly having a phase: "make something from something else" :) First I made a baby soother holder from a key leash and today I am making a new look for the old pin. I is a very fast and easy pattern and the result is so funny - I hope You will try it too.

Materials:

• black, white, red yarn ( I use the yarn which gauge is 24.0 to 30.0 sts = 4 inches )
• hook 3 mm
• big round pin (Mine is almost exactly 5,5 cm)
