Free pattern for soother holder made from the key leash. Lately we are traveling a lot, my son is very curious of everything so the holder is a necessity, of course I decided to make my own holder. I hope You will also make Your own holders with the pattern below.
Materials:
- black, white, red yarn ( I use the yarn which gauge is 24.0 to 30.0 sts = 4 inches )
- hook 3 mm
- key leash
Pattern:
Bow (Make 1)
red yarn
R1: ch 32, ss in 1-st ch to make a circle (32)
R2: sc 32 (32)
R3 - R5: sc 32 (32)
R6: sc 31, ss (32) FO
Middle of the bow (Make 1)
red yarn
R1: 7 ch, ss in 1-st ch to make a circle (7)
R2 - R3: sc 7 (7)
R4: sc 6, ss (7) FO
Put a middle of the bow at the middle :)
Form the bow and sew with red yarn.
Long part (I don't want to call it leash :) (Make 1)
TURN after each row!
start with black yarn
R1: 65 ch (65)
R2: sc 64 (64)
change to white
R3: BLO (back loops only) ss 64 (64)
R4: FLO (front loops only) sc 64 (64)

change to black again
R5: BLO ss 64 (64)
R6: FLO sc 64 (64)
R7: ss 64 (64)
Red dots (Make 3)
red yarn
R1: 6 sc in MR, ss in 1-st sc (6) FO
Take the parts from key leash.
Remember to wash the parts and soak them in boiled water!
Sew the part with the loop (This will hold the soother) to one side of our long black and white part.
Sew the other part of key leash (This will be pinned to baby's blouse) to the other side.
We are almost done :)
Sew the bow near the side You will be pinning to baby's blouse. Try to do it the way it will not show on the other side.
Sew three red dots.
The soother holder is ready now :)
