Axolotl

 

Crochet axolotl is around 30 cm ( 10.2 inches) when standing. I don’t know what it is about this little creature but whoever sees it falls in love instantly :)

Salamander

Crochet salamander is around 24 cm ( 9.4 inches).
I am so proud of this project, finished salamander exceeded my expectations, he is extremely cute and likeable, I would love to see it in different colors – I think almost any color palette would work here (red, orange, green, brown)

Baby raptor

I have made this baby raptor for my 6-year-old son, who is a big LEGO Jurassic World fan. He was very specific in his expectations – the Raptor was suppose to be cute, but deadly and very realistic. 
I added pipe cleaner skeleton so he can move his legs, arms, tail and head – so it’s more an action figure than the plush :)

Baby raptor is around 22 cm (8.6 inches), when standing.

REX

Each REX when finished is 17 cm (6.7 inches).
I especially love this photo below. I imagine those two are trying to hug each other, but can't becouse of their short arms :)

Plus a little behind the scenes shoots with my son :). He had one hundred idea per minute how the dinos should pose (1st photo) and he was changing it before I could make a photo (2nd one) :)

I am sure You have already seen the Good Dinosaur, it is a special movie for me, I sew it with my almost 3 yo son who was in the cinema for the first time in his life :) He loved it, I loved it, so from both our loves came this little crochet dinosaur You see.   

Finished Arlo is 16 cm long (6,3 inches)

 

 
This 14 page PDF tutorial contains 33 photos and detailed instructions on how to crochet the toy. It is written in English with standard crochet terms. It contains 1 page with abbreviations (You can always check the symbol).

This pattern is for the medium advanced crocheters but if You are ready to try I am always ready to help . You should know basic crochet stitches including chain, slip stitch, single crochet, decrease, increase, double crochet, half double crochet and how to start with magic ring.

For my projects I use yarn which meterage is 174 yards (159 meters) for 50 g, weight Sport / 5 ply (12 wpi), Gauge 24 to 30 st is 4 inches (10 cm) and 3 mm hook. You will need olive, medium brown, green, white and black colors of yarn.
