BAT
He is cute but deadly - just like my husband for whom I have made him :) It was kind of free form work so no pattern, if someone is extremely interested to make one I probably can remake him someday. He was suppose to be a missing zipper, but is a bit too large for that, so he ended up as another children's toy - but If I would have at least one elegant jacket that is not black I would make a brooch of him - or maybe I am looking at it all wrong I should make a brooch and have an excuse to buy myself a jacket or two...

Puff Quilt - mini tutorial
Have You ever tried quilting and even puff quilting? Let me tell You - it's fun. My favourite thing in this kind of work is You need to be focused when You are starting, but later on You will work on autopilot ( DO I have to tell You can watch Your favourite tv show when on autopilot...)
I have made my first puff quilt project this December. I made four chair cushions for my Mom as a gift. As I have said before the first one was a challenge, the next ones was pure fun with Vikings or Elementary I don't remember exactly...
First thing You need to do when making a puff quilt is cutting Your material to squares. I made the quilt with two different patterned materials - dotted and stripped. The other material is only used on the back of quilt and it will not be seen, so You can use the material You hate, as I did :)

Pirate booties - new photos
Today I rolled my house upside down in search of pirate booties. As You may guested I found them in most obvious place that I probably looked like 5 times before :) Anyway I was looking for them to make some more pictures and couldn't stop myself to share one of them with You. I love how they look on these cute chubby Leon's feet.
Leon is now 7 months old so I need to make a correction the booties fit the babies 0 to probably 8 months. He was extremely interested in them as soon as I put them on his feet and let me tell You it was hard to make the photo and even harder to make a focused one, but we did it. We are so tired now that my son is asleep and I am writing this post :)
Let me remind anyone who is interested in the free pattern for those pirate booties can find them here:
