Bunny key chain

Krawka: Cute bunny holding the huge carrot - key chain with free pattern. Smart idea for a crochet gift.

I don't know what is it about Easter season that everything looks like cute little bunnys and fluffy yellow chickens, but it may be just because I am pregnant. Anyway this month I made more bunnys and rabbits than in my entire crochet carrier :) So I proudly present my newest creation - Key chain bunny.

In early design phase he was suppose to be a brooch, but I decided on key chain later on. I think I will make another one for brooch as soon as I will get some time. That is the greatest thing about such small projects they don't take that much time to make and You can see the effect very soon.

I was looking for the other elements in store that could be used for crochet I already made: hair clips, brooch ( I have a few of these left so wait for another projects) and now the key chain.

You can see all the parts below:

Working when my son is home is not easy :) :

Firstly sew the pink insides to the ears.

Now sew each ear to the head and fold just like You can see on the pictures.

Take two black beads and make eyes and little nose.

Sew body and head together.
Now make the carrot by sewing the two leaves to the orange elements. When You have the carrot sew it to the body
Now it's time for legs and hands. Place hands like he is holding the carrot very tightly.

Take the black thread and make "fingers" and "toes" with two black lines on each limb.

If You are making the key chain sew the metal element to the highest part of the bunny - it should look like he is hanging on it by the scruff of the neck.
