I have made this birthday cake for my son's 1-st birthday. With my best friend (photographer), we wanted to make him a wonderful 1-st birthday photo session and what would be a greater photo prop for this session than the yummy cake, which he can chew on without getting dirty or burned with a candle :) later on we decided to make an extra accessory - birthday hat in the same color scheme.

Starry night - new crochet frame pattern

Starry Night is one of my favorite paintings. I love it's vibrant colors and movement and a small hint of craziness :) - Did you know Van Gogh painted it while in a mental hospital - there is also some unexpected math behind it I didn't even know about until last week, more info here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PMerSm2ToFY.

I made this picture for myself to have this small piece of great art in my home. I am very happy with the result and I think you can feel a bit of VanKrawka in it :)

Pegasus

Finished crochet pegasus is almost 30 cm (11.8 inches) long with tail. He is inspired by the baby pegasus from Disney's Hercules. Zeus described him as a magnificent horse with the brain of a bird :D Actually our crochet horsie will not have any brain at all - only stuffing, in his little head, but who cares when he is looking so cute and cuddly :)
